Classes
The classes we offer at RRCC Fitness Center are subject to change based on attendance levels or by instructor request. Some classes described below may or may not be available. Please check our class calendar for the most current classes offered. Classes will run for the entire month as advertised.
Several classes require pre-registration with payment to assure instructor fees are covered for the duration of the course, a minimum of 5 registrants are needed before the class is scheduled to run. These classes run 8 weeks and are: Bands & Balls, Ab Attack, Fit for All, Target Practice, Kickboxing, Tummy Tuck. Pre-registration fees for these classes are as follows $24 for members, $40 for non members. Ab Attack and Tummy Tuck are ½ hour classes and are $9 members, $15 non-members.
Pilates, Body Toning, Step & Strength, Boot Camp are regularly scheduled classes and do not require pre-registration.
The following is a list of classes currently offered at the Fitness Center.
Pilates
A method of exercise and physical movement designed to stretch, strengthen and balance the body. Specific exercises coupled with focused breathing patterns can increase lung capacity and circulation, improve strength and flexibility in the abdominal and back muscles, improve bone density and joint health, and improve mental and muscular coordination! Incorporates the use of exercise balls and resistance bands. Great for all ages and fitness levels.
Body Toning
For all levels of fitness is designed to strengthen those pesky buns, thighs, abs and arms. This class will devote approximately 10 mins. for flattening the stomach, 25 minutes toning those buns and thighs, and 25 minutes strengthening the upper body!
Step Aerobics
A cardio workout using “step” platforms throughout the workout, guaranteed to get your heart pumping and blood flowing!!!
Got Balls?
Use stability balls for a total body workout that will test your balance, coordination and core strength.
Fit For All
The “NO IMPACT” exercise class. This class is guaranteed to get you into shape and feeling good again WITHOUT the bouncing, jogging and aerobic workout that stresses your joints or your heart! Balance and flexibility exercises are combined to strengthen your entire body, ending with a relaxing stretch!

The fee for the classes listed above will be as follows:
- Members $3.00 per class
- Non-Members $5.00 per class
Kickboxing
This 60 minute class is aimed at beginners and focuses on kickboxing technique and a body toning workout, no previous boxing or martial arts training is necessary!
You must pre-register for this program which will be held on Tuesday evenings at 5PM, beginning Oct. 16th and continuing for 8 weeks.
The fee for Kickboxing Class will be:
- Members $24
- Non-members $40
